It’s near Hadrian’s Wall. A fort called Housesteads and this picture shows the underfloor air circulation system for beneath the grain storage. It’s similar to the underfloor heating layout the Roman’s used in their villas. I find it fascinating!

It really is an amazing spot. I’m going to Vindolanda in the next few days (another Roman architectural site) so I’ll post more pictures then
